Human rights activist fired from his job

(HAVANA, Cuba, December 6 / Puenteinfocubamiami.org) - Vicente Campanionni, a human rights activist and member of the Democratic Party November 30 "Frank País" was fired from his job by the Administrative Unit of Health Services of the Centro Habana municipality, violating International treaties signed by Cuba at the International Workers Organization, with the acronyms (OIT).

According with the report given to Lux Info Press, the dissident was fired after refusing to participate in activities programmed in working hours by the regime and for refusing to join the Health National's Workers Union under the control of the Official Cuban Workers Union (CTC).

According to data provided, more than three thousand human rights activists, independent workers and members of the opposition were fired due to political reasons.
